Terms of Service

Effective date: December 22, 2025

These Terms govern your use of RejectShield (the “Service”), provided by RejectShield (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) What RejectShield is (and is not)

RejectShield is a pre-check utility that scans uploaded COI files for common text-based red flags that often cause rejections. RejectShield does not provide legal advice, insurance advice, or compliance certification.

2) Pay-per-scan purchases

The Service is sold as pay-per-scan. Each purchase unlocks one scan. Payments are processed by Stripe.

No refunds (v1): Because the Service is a digital utility delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable. If a technical issue prevented results, contact support@rejectshield.com.

3) Supported files and limitations

• Supported: PDF, DOCX, and TXT.
• Scanned/image-only PDFs: may not contain extractable text.
• Images (PNG/JPG): not supported in v1.

4) Your responsibilities

• Upload documents you have the right to use.
• Verify results against the recipient’s written requirements.
• Do not rely on RejectShield as a substitute for professional review.

5) Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, RejectShield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the scan giving rise to the claim.

6) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alaska, USA.
