This policy explains how RejectShield collects and uses information when you use the Service.

1) What we collect

• COI files you upload (PDF/DOCX/TXT) and any text you paste into requirements notes.
• Basic usage data (errors/performance logs) to operate and improve the Service.
• Payment data is processed by Stripe. We do not receive your full card details.

2) How we use information

• To run the pre-check and generate results.
• To maintain and improve the Service.
• To prevent abuse and protect the Service.

3) File handling and retention (v1 policy)

In v1, uploads are processed to extract text and generate results. We do not intend to store COI files long-term. Avoid uploading information you don’t want processed.

4) Sharing

• Stripe processes payments.
• Hosting/logging providers may process limited technical data needed to operate the Service.

5) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Service, but no method of transmission/storage is 100% secure.
